How was LAXin Littles Formed?

LAXin Littles was born out of a passion for introducing the exciting world of lacrosse to young children in a way that is engaging, fun, and educational. Our founders, Cameron & Kristina, noticed a gap in the availability of lacrosse programs specifically tailored for kids aged 3 to 7 when they moved to the York area and began looking for sports options for their 3 young daughters. Cameron spent 14+ years playing lacrosse and an additional 10+ years coaching across three different youth organizations, while Kristina has spent years advocating for the benefits of outdoor play and creating opportunities for families to connect with others in outdoor settings.. We decided to combine our knowledge and form LAXin Littles.

Driven by a love for the game and a commitment to early childhood development, we set out to create a program that would make lacrosse accessible and enjoyable for little ones. We focused on developing age-appropriate drills, using safe and lightweight equipment, and incorporating playful, game-based learning methods. Our goal was to ensure that every child not only learns the basics of lacrosse but also builds a lifelong love for the sport.

Since our launch, LAXin Littles has grown into a vibrant community where kids can explore lacrosse in a positive and supportive environment. We’re dedicated to fostering each child’s growth and enjoyment of the game while laying the foundation for future success in lacrosse and beyond.
